The neuroscience building at the University of Paris-Saclay completes the future NeuroSaclay cluster at the heart of the CEA's research cluster, which already includes the Neurospin building and the Centre d'Imagerie de science cognitive.
The program sets up an animal laboratory in its basement, a reception and conference room on the ground floor and 3 research platforms on the upper floors.
Located in a high-quality landscaped park, the building takes up the entirety of the land unit allocated to it in order to develop, with a view to integration, a minimum number of levels.
The plan is designed according to a diagrammatic configuration that organizes the patios, rooms and traffic in a homogeneous and equal way. The researcher thus travels through spaces of great spatial richness.
This inner freedom is ensured by a structural exoskeleton that by nature draws the façades of the building.
