This "Massy Opéra" development project is a joint project of architects and urban planners gathered around Christian Devillers and supported by developers and investors.
A great deal of attention is paid to the quality of use and perception of public spaces.
On the foundations of a contemporary urban form, the spaces are designed to be functional and welcoming, the shops are well located and the housing offer diversified on all the lots.
Focus on two buildings with 50 apartments.
The ambition is to bring the greatest attractiveness to homes.
Unobstructed views and access to the sun, corner situations, duplexes, etc... all the apartments have several orientations and offer a multitude of possibilities of occupation.
An exterior extension, a real domestic space that can be appropriated, is offered to each dwelling, like an extra room, in between, both outside and inside.
The first building, "lot C", facing the Place de l'Opéra, reveals a strong supporting colonnade that sets these loggias back.
The second, "lot F", intertwines private conservatories, a kind of small suspended patio that extends from the outside to the centre of the apartments.
The writing of the facades does not cheat, based on a regular grid, it visually orchestrates the uses of each dwelling.
