This Paris Express Station is designed as a respectful extension of Jean-Marie Duthilleul's work. The station seems to have always been there, without gestures, without fashion. The serenity and timelessness of the intervention prevails over any desire to overexist. An approach to increasing the existing architecture that gives the whole a coherent unity that can make this station a whole with a strong impact.
Thus, the existing linearity of the railway tracks and canopies has been resolutely rectilinearly redesigned.
A large cantilevered canopy, a great classic of the station, displays in its underside a large LED screen (consubstantial with the event) emitting either images adapted to the events of the Stade de France or soft lighting ambiences on a daily basis.
